About Lindsay

Lindsay Drew is a self-employed single parent who grew up in a working middle-class family and works tirelessly for the common good. She’s running for State Representative because she believes the government and our elected officials are no longer hearing the voice of the people and are being left behind in the decisions being made in Harrisburg. Her proven track record of action, advocacy, service above self-commitment to authenticity, and trustworthiness will make her the Representative the 106th district deserves.

Lindsay spent the early years of her career in business banking, but after experiencing personal tragedy through the loss of her younger sister in 2008 and the becoming a mother in 2010, she felt called to change career paths with a desire to be able to give back to the community and advocate for others rather than remain in a corporate environment. Today, Lindsay is self-employed and provides marketing services to small businesses and non-profit organizations through her business but devotes much of her time to advocacy and service of others through involvement with non-profit organizations and public service as a Derry Township School Board Director. Lindsay also is the founder of The Jessica Drew Sunshine Memorial Fund, Inc., a 501c3 organization created in memory of her sister which provides educational scholarships and grants to community organizations.

Her commitment to service is reinforced by a number of honors she’s received such as Central Pennsylvania’s 40 under 40, Top 25 Women of Influence – Community Achievement Award, finalist for the Non-Profit Innovation Award Excellence in Leadership, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year and All-Star of the Year in Central PA, and the Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Leadership Award.

Lindsay is passionate about our children and their future. She will fight for increased funding to public education to ensure all children have access to an equitable education regardless of the zip code or circumstances they are born into. She will help remove barriers and provide better access to and expansion of mental health services to combat the current crisis we are facing and remove the stigma of mental illness for future generations. Lindsay also understands the challenges workers face and will be an ally for all, ensuring workers are protected, earn a living wage, and have access to healthcare, paid time off, and affordable childcare.

Lindsay is driven by the belief that we rise by lifting others and that all Pennsylvanians deserve to have the same opportunity to thrive and is committed to working for the best interest of all.
